Mission Statement |
1) to promote the campsite, and 2) to implement the comprehensive master site plan. This includes the development of financial resources to grow program, maintain the camp site, and expand the ministry through the implementation of the master site plan. The Development Committee is made up of two task forces. The “Publicity” Task Force focuses on the promotion of the campsite and the cultivation of leadership. The "Development" Task Force identifies and develops the financial and human resources needed to expand the program, maintain the campsite and implement the comprehensive master site plan. The Development Committee is accountable to the Board of Camping, Outdoor, and Retreat Ministries and meets bi monthly. Individual task forces and specialized sub-groups may meet between meetings to complete their respective tasks. The Development Committee has the formidable challenge of renovating and building new facilities which will better meet the needs of your congregation and the community you serve.
